With all that's going on in politics during this Presidential 2008 bid, we couldn't pass up this opportunity to send some Reverend Jeremiah Wright footage. We have all witnessed the extreme bias of the corporate media -- what they do to a Black candidate they've never done to a White candidate. Some say Reverend Wright has given them an opportunity to justify the media promotion of not voting for Barack Obama to a substantial amount of constituents who may already be shaking in their boots at the mere thought of a Black president. What's really interesting, however, is that the media always have a choice not to "go with" certain material as they've done with John McCain's acceptance of John Hagee's support as well as Hillary Clinton's Bosnia lies. Yet for reasons that are very clear (even if you don't look below the surface), the media have been relentless with the Jeremiah Wright story. If Obama gets the nomination, we will no doubt hear the running theme of his "20 years" in Wright's church no matter what he says or does. So if he's the nominee, be prepared for the "fear"...
Also as everyone probably knows by now, the "fear" once again let the NYPD cops off in the Sean Bell case -- yes, the 50-shot case. We all remember the Amadou Diallo case nearly 10 years ago -- yes, the 41-shot case. Two Black men shot dead in an onslaught of bullets because of that "fear." When has a White male been shot at multiple times, machine-gun style? Enough said...
Back to politics! Since the media will undoubtedly give us a primarily programmed viewpoint, below are three links to Wright doing an interview on the Bill Moyers Journal (BMJ) on 4/25/08; speaking at the National Advancement for the Association of Colored People (NAACP) dinner in Detroit, Michigan, on 4/27/08; and speaking at the National Press Club (NPC) breakfast in Washington, DC, on 4/28/08. Like with everybody else and everything else in the world, there will be some things you agree with and some things you don't -- and there will be many things you simply never knew. We guarantee it. The main point, however, is that you're coming to your own conclusions and not being strictly guided by media manipulation and bias.

So the question remains, is mainstream America ready to get over its "fear?"
